Lunch Sack Challenge

Last month for guild meeting we did the "Lunch Sack Challenge". We each brought one ounce of fiber to swap with someone else. We did a passing game to determine who gets who's sack. The fiber is to be spun and turned into something lovely.

We had a few rules:
  • No adding more fiber to the fiber you got.

  • The fiber has to be spun. (We are a spinning guild)

  • The yarn is to be the main focus of the item made, but you can add things to the yarn, (beads, feathers, fabric, etc.).

Here is a preview of the fiber I spun and knitted into a Spiral Cowl, a pattern from Knitty Gritty Thoughts.

This poor thing has been stolen several times by my puppy, Snowflake. She even stole it when it was full of t-pins and blocking. I will be glad to send the cowl to it's proper home, where it will be safe from the little monster at my house.
